Well darn, one less source of left-wing news. Now we only have CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, NY Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, Reuters, The New Republic, The Daily Kos, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert until May 2026. How will we ever cope?
NPR bends hard left. They described the Hunter Biden laptop story as a distraction. “We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions.”
Then NPR was worried if we had enough transgender truckers and talked to the founder of a company that screens trucking companies to find out if they “support LGBTQ drivers or if their health insurance covers things like trans health care.”
in 2023, NPR wondered why so many conservatives were refusing to eat bugs: “This right wing conspiracy theory about eating bugs is about as racist as you think.”
Speaking of crunchy, the one that crunched it for me was NPR tweeting:
"A new poll finds 40% of respondents believe in a baseless conspiracy theory that the coronavirus was created in a lab in China."
"There is zero evidence for this. Scientists say the virus was transmitted to humans from another species."
Baseless?? That tweet aged like milk in the sun.
There's definitely room for debate NPR bias.
I still look forward to your emails every M-T-W and Friday. You call 'em as you see 'em.
You can see from our responses that we differ on these issues. I don't have enough room to counter with all the misinformation Fox News puts out there and have to laugh at how radio people are so worried that the left is out to do them in. This issue will likely not be settled until the next generation shows us how to tolerate and cooperate. (Does this sound like I am woke? But I still love hearing all sides so there it is).

A little misleading, my friend ...
CNN is trying to be both right and left
MSNBC is Grievance Central (even the Democrats don't watch).
CBS -- seriously? They're over dinging 60 Minutes
WaPo -- Bezos is kissing Trumps ass.
As we on the left like to say NPR and PBS are accused of being left because their right.
Jerry, I beg to differ.

As Dave Mason put it, We Just Disagree. Politely, I hope. Have a great weekend.
Always!
